FTG looked at the DLS 26 World Winner Event in their Teaser video. For the World Heroes, the date of release was mentioned, but for the World Winners event, there was nothing much conclusive shown other than the card design. This came as a surprise, as nobody was expecting 2 events back-to-back.
Our Modding community dug deep into the game APK files and found the 4 players’ images and stats for the upcoming event. Although it is still unclear how we will be able to sign these special players, one thing is sure: these players will be based on World Cup performances, mostly the 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2026 FIFA World Cups.
In this article, we’ll cover everything currently known about the upcoming DLS 26 World Winners Event, including leaked players, expected release, how the cards may be obtained, and what makes these special cards different.
What is the DLS 26 World Winners Event?
The World Winners event is expected to become the next Legendary Event in Dream League Soccer 2026, following the World Heroes event. According to the teaser released by FTG, the event introduces a completely new card design inspired by memorable FIFA World Cup-winning performances.
Unlike the World Heroes cards, which featured very high-rated cards and top-tier 1-level players like Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, etc, the World Winners cards appear to focus on players who delivered an unexpected performance and helped gain limelight for their country in their FIFA World Cup campaign.
The young or emerging players who will be performing very well in the 2026 World Cup are also supposed to be present at this upcoming event. This is the sole reason why this event was kept just after the end of the tournament.

Leaked DLS 26 World Winners Players
According to information extracted from the latest DLS 26 APK files by members of the modding community, four players are currently associated with the upcoming World Winners event. Here is the list of the players along with their years.

These four players appear to be locked into the event based on the current game files. However, FTG has not officially confirmed the final roster, so we are expecting additional players to be added before the commencement of the event.
We can expect players like Michael Olise (2026), Mikel Oyarzabal (2026), Achraf Hakimi (2026), Bukayo Saka (2026), Vozinha (2026), etc. The question that comes to the mind, are these payer surely coming? Not sure, but the list of 4 players mentioned earlier is surely coming as we have extracted the players’ names before also, and they were true almost every time.
How Can You Get World Winners Cards?
Although FTG hasn’t officially explained the reward system, the World Winners cards are widely expected to be available through Legendary Agents or a Special Event, just like a Pink card (Team of the Year event). Because it doesn’t make much sense to give the player based on the legendary agents, as the player has already used their gems in the World Heroes event.
One thing is sure, that it won’t be easy to get these players on your team just like that. You either have to pull in some time or buy some in-game currency (gems) from the playstore/appstore.
