Height is crucial not only in offence but also in defence, so make sure you have the best attackers, those who have good height. Best Strategies to win DLS Online
1. Counter Attacks
With this strategy, you can score in more than 90% of your counterattacks. For this, you need 3 attackers up front. Make sure you have very fast players in your wings. We recommend using Salah on the right wing and either Vinicius or Dembele on the Left wing.
Also, ensure you have good, healthy strikers like Haaland, Kane, Mbappe, Lewandowski, etc., ready at your disposal, as you will need to cross the ball several times. So, when the opponent Attacks or takes a corner, you somehow dispose of him/her from the ball possession. Try to kick the ball towards any one of the wingers who is free. Press the Heatmap (small soccer field map shown in the centre bottom screen) and select the game style Attacking.
Use your winger to sprint towards the goal. If an opponent’s player is there to defend against you, you should hold the C or A button and throw the ball to the opposite Winger, as he is always free in counterattacks. This way, you either take the shot or pass the bal Lobbing it over the opponent CB’s towards your CF. Then press A in a 1v1 to shoot and score.
2. C-Spam
C-Spamming in DLS 26 is a playing style where you use tall, fast forwards and the C button to play lofted through balls over defenders. With the power bar slightly over half, the pass beats the defensive line, sending your striker through on goal for a 1v1 finish.
This strategy is often criticised for being unfair to the opponent, but there is nothing you can do when your opponent uses the same trick on you.
3. Boosting the players
You can increase your players’ Total Overalls using gems. Go to Team Management, press the coaches and use the coaches to train your existing players using gems. You can either focus on your player’s Speed and Acceleration (Fitness Coach) or the Pass and Control (Technical Coach). It depends on you what you need the most.
There are separate coaches available for the Goalkeepers and the Goalkeeping Coach. Use the coaches wisely, as coaching is a very important aspect of a player’s performance.
4. Long B Passes
One of the very unique playstyles is by using the B Button in through-ball passes. These passes are done in a diagonal direction towards the wingers. Make sure to use a fast Winger with a full Stamina Bar.
Works best when you dispossess the opponent in your own half. Press the Heatmap button and use the Attacking mode before pressing and holding the B Button for the powerful grounded pass.
5. Defensive Play
After you have scored a goal against your opponent, you can always play the game in defensive mode by passing the ball back to your goalkeeper or centre-backs when the spaces are very tight in your opponent’s formation.
6. Long Shots
This skill requires lots of training and experience, as taking Long Shots with perfect Power is easy for a player who plays DLS very often.
Scoring from a Long Shot is comparatively easier in DLS than in eFootball Mobile. So with the correct power and player, the long shots have more than 75% accuracy. You don’t even have to pass through the opponent’s defence.
7. Changing the formation
When playing DLS Online, you find that it is becoming hard for you to find open spaces in the opponent’s field. Then the best decision is to change your formation by pressing the Pause Button and changing the game mid-game, as it is not possible to know which formation your opponent must be using before entering an online match.
